Mazda mentions it in the "HOT DISPLAYS" tab, but I'm not going to drag my *** down there unless its actually there.

I don't know if its ther or not, but I'm on my way to NOVA right now, and I'm trying to convince my husband he wants to go to the show tomorrow. If we do and it's there, I'll post tomorrow. If it is, it's going to be the yellow pre-production car, I'd bet.

Well, after a fun day at the Washington Auto Show with my in-laws, I can confidently report that there is no RX-8 of any version, yellow, red, silver, or anyth other color, at the show. There is an orange Mazdaspeed Protege, and three Mazda6s, but no RX-8. There are also a ton of in-law attracting sedans, which apparently causes them to wander aimlessly between boring vehicles seemingly at random for hours at a time, causing their families much grief and gnashing of teeth.

All I can say is thank god I'll be at Detroit in two weeks to get this horrible experience out of my mind.

And again, I repeat, there is no RX-8 at the Washington Auto Show.

Does anyone know if the rx-8 production model will be displayed at the detroit auto show. I am thinking about going but if it is not there it would be pointless for me to go. Thanks

What a Mazda joke. I'm waited so long for this car, I'm about ready to give up.

Detroit is the confirmed unveiling of the Full Production RX-8. Boowana and Sputnik are on the case. LA Auto Show will have a couple, including the X-men car.
