Thanks for the post. I like the highest 5 star rating for performance, and found the following quote to be pertinent to recent discussions regarding torque of the RX-8:
Despite the engine's inherent lack of torque, the combination of low weight and the short gearing of the six speed manual gearbox successfully masks any mid-range lethargy - stab the RX-8's electronic throttle and the car leaps forward in any gear, thriving on revs.
