Yeah. She should speak without a script, like our last president.

I wanted to make a comment on how odd these political comments are, but ended up having the urge to make a somewhat political comment as well....

Both of them have made bad decisions and good decisions. I'm not going to say one did more than the other (even though that could be debated either way). What I am going to say is that the people bashing them do it in such amazingly different ways. Bush was constantly made fun of and regularly the butt of jokes. Obama is criticized in situations that are completely unrelated and it makes absolutely no sense. Sure, there were some off topic mentions of bush, but it seems like I always see the most random **** where someone's like "well we can thank obama for that".

bush example:
person 1: This article is talking about the war in iraq
person 2: we can thank bush for that

obama example:
person 1: I heard the girl scouts were changing one of their cookie recipes
person 2: we can thank obama for that

How about;

Person 1 - the SECDEF wants to get rid of Don't Ask Don't Tell and let homosexuals openly serve.

Person 2 - We can thank Obama for that!

Dont ask and dont tell is probably the best policy. To have gays openly serve..... uhh I dont think so. We've all seen Full metal Jacket, the homos will be treated the same way as the big guy in boot camp and will eventually commit suicide.

You have no idea how bad it will be and the worst part is that no one looks at the 2d, 3d and 4th order effects.
Like how much money it will cost DOD to change policy, facilities, training, the list goes on and on!

Why did this thread become political?

How about instead of blatantly making very off topic and very political statements, we stick to the rules of the forum. The fact that this **** comes up with no prompting was the point I was making. This didn't happen with bush like it does with obama. I was commenting on people, not politics. You guys are doing exactly as I said... taking one topic and driving it off topic with very little prompting in the way it gets taken.

That's not a bad review, everything she said was pretty fair. Obviously she didn't take it on the track and push the envelope or she would have had more to say about the handling, but this seems more of a test-drive-on-the-road kind of review.
