Should Right hand drivers be concerned about the hefty bump that will appear under the right hand drive version cars in australia due to thedrivetrain on left hand drive cars the bump occurs on passenger cars HAS ANYONE SEEN IT HOW LARGE IS IT?I am slightly concerned if it will effect my driving and infringe on interior space on drivers side.

I don't have the pic right now, but I do know what he's talking about. In fact, they mention it in a couple of the mag reviews. I would assume that the bump is moved to the left side for a right-hand-drive vehicle. I could be wrong though, and I probably am...
HERCULES thanks for reply if you read article on spotrs car international on page 5 just under picture of interior of rx8 near the steering wheel you will come across the section i am referring to in R.H.DRIVE cars the bump appears under R.H.D area underdriver.
This picture shows the bump a little, you can see in on the bottom of the trans. tunnel. It starts from the begining of that tunnel and goes 1/3 or so back.
Glad I'm driving on the left but if you think about it, I don't think they would have done that if it wasn't driveable or hindered the driving experiance very much.

Thanks for the fhoto this has given me peace of mind.my plate is RXB88 OR MRX08 I REGISTERED 2 JUST IN CASE .GETTING READY 4 MAZDASPEED RX8 (MRXO8}THE WAITING PERIOD FOR THE CAR IS A PAIN IN THE BUTT,anyway thanks again and hopefully the camel hump wont intefere or take up favorable space.
