Thumbs up Article insports car international

Should Right hand drivers be concerned about the hefty bump that will appear under the right hand drive version cars in australia due to thedrivetrain on left hand drive cars the bump occurs on passenger cars HAS ANYONE SEEN IT HOW LARGE IS IT?I am slightly concerned if it will effect my driving and infringe on interior space on drivers side.

If you can post a picture of this 'bump' maybe I can get a better idea.

I'm not entirely sure what you're talkin about.

I don't have the pic right now, but I do know what he's talking about. In fact, they mention it in a couple of the mag reviews. I would assume that the bump is moved to the left side for a right-hand-drive vehicle. I could be wrong though, and I probably am...

pic of underside

This picture shows the bump a little, you can see in on the bottom of the trans. tunnel. It starts from the begining of that tunnel and goes 1/3 or so back.

Glad I'm driving on the left but if you think about it, I don't think they would have done that if it wasn't driveable or hindered the driving experiance very much.
