YEAH!! Got my copper red 2006 Shinka Tonight!
I have been lurking and posting here for quite some time now....and have been waiting for the right deal. Got a new copper 2006 Shinka tonight for 26,750. I might have done better somewhere else, but this was the only one in this part of the world and I LOVE it!!! Shinka RULES. Thanks to everyone here in getting me ready and for all the hints and tips. RX-8 : A wonderful piece of engineering!!!

I have the GT, and have always wondered what the difference between the GT and Shinka package is. I know the suspension is slightly upgraded and there are different color combinations (as well as a 2 tone leather parking brake), but besides the look is anything different performance wise?

^Husky--^ I've been wondering the difference between the Shinka and ANY other RX-8...I didn't search for a list, but a new one would be MUCH appriciated

You know, I don't know all the specific differences between the Shinka and GT. On a day to day basis probably insignificant. I just loved the color of the paint and interior leather. Also it came with sirius satelite and channel 10 is the WHO channel.(Only plays The WHO nothing else) I thought that was a bonus. Looking forward to a long and fun relationship here!!

Sorry....No Nav!! but hey, I don't get lost around here. It DID come with 4 new spark plugs in the glove compartment. Anyone else get spark plugs???

* Suspension cross member injected with foaming urethane improving performance and ride quality
* Unique Suspension tuning with thicker 14mm damper shafts (up from 12mm)
This is from an old article on the '05 Shinkas.
Oh, and congrats man. The exuberance of the new owners reminds me to appreciate my car. Have fun with it.

Congrats, I too just picked up a Galaxy gray Shinka with the Aero pack and wing. Paid around $28.5. Love the car. Wanted one since the 70s when they first came out. I didn't try the radio till i got her home. Right front speaker blown, called service and they ordered one without having me come in. Also no plugs in glove box so I ask if 4206f was done and was told it was. Is there any other way to tell. No sticker under hood.
