I have a similar problem. I know they have my VIN correct in their system (I checked this after seeing this post). But when I had the M flash, the maintenance report said "RX8 AT" instead of "MT". It should be pretty obvious to the mechanic which s/he's working on the car, but will this effect recall (or any other) notices?
