Correct me if i'm wrong, You can only put 17 inch rims as the smallet on rx8 correct?? and they normally come with 18 inch rims correct?
or do they come with 17's.
Anyways, how much do winter tires cost for 17 inch rims?? isn't it really expensive.
And can you get 50 series or do you Need atleast 45 series or you'll f** dimensions up

There are a lot of threads and discussion on this but just an FYI
I have OEM 18 inch rims, went to Tire Rack and they guaranteed fitment of the 17 in Kazera rims. I purchased them with Dunlop Graspics 225/50R17 (mounted and balanced) to give the same circumference overall. The setup works well in the snow, though admittedly not nearly the handling of the higher end snow tires. My total was less than $900. The tires still sell for $95 each and I save the wear and tear on the 18s plus the mounting charges each year.
Auto 8 comes with 16" rims. When you get an AT with the sport package (or whatever they now call the package that comes with bigger brakes) you get 18" rims. All MTs come with the bigger brakes and 18" rims.
