Year 11 1/2 Update
Still can't find a vehicle I like anywhere near as much for anywhere near the price after test driving/renting/borrowing dozens of possible replacements, including BMW, Audi, Lexus (IS), Infiniti G37, Mustang Coyote, Camaro (meh), etc.
I've thus far, after 11 1/2 years of Michigan round year driving (winters included), simply done:
Oil/filter changes
Coolant flush and fills
Rear diff gear oil change
Air filter changes (engine & cabin)
New brake pads
New tires
New brake fluid after caliper bleeding
I've replaced one alloy wheel (not the cars fault) by buying from a member here.
Awesome, awesome car! Paint has held up well as has clearcoat. Also, no rust (I use Fluid Film in early fall along with Amsoil Heavy Duty Metal Protector in rear wheel wells.

Wow congrats!
I'm just hit 9 years of ownership with my lovely RX-8. Doing the same maintenance as you did.
Mostly trouble free. Had a coil go bad. That's about it.
