I saw a van hit a pickup truck this morning. I think the cold froze some brains today.

Thank God you didn't stop, because the last thing someone wants after having his car run into is a witness to the accident...

A witness is the best thing he could have because otherwise, it's his word against her's. She could say the light was green and he ran a red light.

What color was the RX8?

Yeah, I'm sure he wasn't being sarcastic either

Were you driving an 8 when you saw this?

Wow that's always tough in any situation...reguardless of the make. But seeing an 8 totalled would be a little omniscent.

If it was silver, it was just it's time to go

If you stopped, telling him you knew all about rotaries wouldn't have helped.

But if you said "I saw that...she blasted through the red light...here's my number" you'd have made a friend.

You could have pulled over into a parking lot and waited for the Police to arrive. Then you could have given them an eyewitness account of the accident.
Is that such a hard thing to do?
I've done it before and it didn't hurt a bit.
When my wife got hit in our RX-8 I wish someone would have stopped and said "that guy ran a red light and hit her". But NO,, no one stopped. I ended up loosing part of my deductible because it was her word against his.
BASTARDS!

I'll fourth or fifth what everyone else said, you dropped the ball by not stopping. On accidents like this a witness or can be helpful, assuming the guy wasn't bleeding to death, then he would like help

Why does it have to be silver? I thought the curse was gone. Most of the stories I've read lately have been about Black ones.
