Stretched. Properly fitted wheel and tire will are not stretched.

This vid explains how it's done right.

you could also ask who in their right mind would ever put those types of wheels on a RX8. Or the purpose of the MS sticker. The list could go on lol.

Whats wrong with "These type of wheels"? Ive seen them on Mad Mikes rx8, and also another member of rx8 club, Tilitmode43. I think they are both beast.. As for the "MS" Sticker, im apart of a mazda group out of Pittsburgh, "Mazdaspeed Pittsburgh"...

I dont mind being criticized but, jeez, some of it is nonsense,... if anything falls outside of the "norm" (stock body, MS kit, Work Minsters, or TE37's) it gets picked apart, for what? If I had replica wheels, there would be someone who would have somthing to say about that, or anything little thing, for that matter. As far as the tire size, 255 on a 10.5 isnt at all bad, this is mild compared to some stuff we've all seen.. I considered something wider but, decided that these would give me the fitment I wanted. In the end someone here will always have some reason to criticize, so it is what it is.. Im pleased with the out come and will post the final result after its all put together ...

my point was that you can always find something to criticize if you look hard enough. A point to the debate of "stretched vs proper". Not all modifications satisfy the masses.

Generally a 225 should go on a 8 inch rim. Little variance for sidewall profile. For 10.5, more like 265 maybe even bigger. Stretch compromises the sidewall integrity of the tire and hampers its ability to deform like it's supposed to under load. So, not only does it look unprofessional, it's also not safe. But, the kids don't care about that anymore. As long as it's "hella flush."

This is a mod that is not just about taste, but safety. It's as bad as the retards back in the 90's mounting tiny wheels out past the fenders. Well, maybe not as bad as that, but still not safe. The tire can not function as designed since the sidewalls are stretched and can not deform they way they are intended too. Looks aside, it's still stupid.

I threw in the clutch pedal assembly with the reinforced bracket. The old one was, for lack of a better term, "well loved".

1. Took all of the dealers advertisements off of my baby, license plate frames, sticker on back of car.
2. Removed the front plate and the mounting bracket.
3. Bought a connection for the iPod and the radio.
