TX which way should the slots/cross drilled point?

So I had crossdrilled./ slotted rotors installed. Noticed that the front ones have the slots going down but the rears ones have them going up.
Does it make any difference which they point?

Some manufacturers recommend a certain way and others do not. From what I have read people just say to follow their directions.

I can't see it making a difference so long as the released gasses are allowed to escape.

Makes no difference, the real difference maker is if the rotors have directional vanes..... most dont.

I have Racing Brake cross drilled and slotted, they have an arrow on them that points for proper rotation. Some others may differ.

Yep, agree with Altspace and above. Depends on make. I too have the RB(although not the cross drilled, but two piece slotted) and they have directional arrows on the instructions.

Go here for more details? http://www.racingbrake.com/v/main/te...tent=Direction of Rotation

You're going to have to provide some pictures and what rotors you have. Until then its all conjecture.
