view from above

Was taking Christmas lights off the house last weekend, and while perched 30 feet up on a peak I saw my 8 parked in the driveway. I had never seen it from above before. Just more evidence that this is the sexiest car from any angle. Has anyone taken overhead pics before, if so please share. thanks.

Overhead is not very flattering because it flattens the curves, and neither is the side view.

One good angle would be sitting in a low sports car, and seeing the RX8 coming up in your rear view mirror.

Generally, on an incline provides the best angles on foot as you approach the vehicle, doesn't matter which end is facing you.

The vast majority of photos on the internet of the RX8 destroy its appearance due to perspective distortion. You will see the end quarter widened out of proportion, when in reality it is quite small and compact. It's difficult to find a good photo that actually looks like the RX8 in real life.

True, pictures rarely do it justice. I almost get tired of seeing pics b/c they never look as good as when I walk out to my driveway!

My favorite top view because it shows how the interior trip blends with the hood features.

Top down at an angle is pretty nice, but I think the view from the back must be quite nice too, seeing as how that's all my friends ever see...
