Thinking of buying

I'm thiunking of buying a 2010 RX8 but I'm worried aboiut the reported flooded problems. My daughetr's school is a 5 minute drive etc. Is this still an issue on the later versions.

Thanks

The problem usually happens when shutting it off after 30 seconds (not five minutes), like when moving it across a parking lot. She/you should be fine. I occasionally put gas in my car in the morning, probably five minutes after starting it, and it's been fine.

You'll be fine on a 5 minute drive. Plus, the newer models don't have as many issues with flooding. Even the older models with all of the required updates shouldn't have too much of a problem with flooding.

Just make sure the needle is near the middle of the hot and cold, then it'll be fine.
