suspension question

Hey im new to the rx8 scene, I just got my 05 rx8 about a month ago and im thinking about dropping it with D2 suspension. I was just wondering if anyone else has this suspension on their car and what they think of it or if there's anything better? Also what kind of wheel spacers should I get to limit the wheel gap? Thanks

D2 suspension?

as for spacers: after you drop it, then work on the spacers.

Unknown manufacturer.

Stay away from it.

Get the correct wheels, don't use spacers.

evasive motorsports is responsible for some of the fastest time attack cars around, and they're pretty reputable with the s2k and evo crowd, both which are known to be avid track rats. i'd call them up and ask them about the coilovers. I noted that it says they're rebuildable and servicable in the US, i would ask evasive about that too.

for about 900 dollars i wouldnt expect too much from the valving of these coilovers, its costing me about 1400 to build my own set from bilsteins and they're not even adjustable. If you just want a drop, i would suggest a spring and shock combo might fit your needs more and provide better damping for the bumps on the street.

As for spacers, they're not a good idea, i know alot of people use them, but why add another potential part that can fail when you can just get the correct wheel specs in the first place.
