You only need a spacer for the trailing plugs (which don't make power so there is no need to change them unless you are using a non stock PCM).
The leading plugs you can use without any sort of spacer, as the crush washer on the spark plug spaces it out far enough.
But I don't get why anyone would want to change them to RX-7 plugs. The spark gap on a RX-7 plug is only .032 or so... considerably smaller than the .048 of the stock leading plugs on the RX-8.
Smaller gap = less spark
Less spark = less mileage
Less spark = less power
The only reason to use a RX-7 plug in the RX-8 is because you are too cheap to buy the correct plug for the car.
