Someone has an 09...
Not me though
Someone post a comment for him to join rx8club. I don't think he knows what he has since he went with an AT...

well I dont blame the comments on the auto, to me sports cars were meant to be manually shifted or at least a twin clutch, and even that I dislike.
Unless...you just want to look pretty and slush it around.

I actually prefer my "old" '07 to the '09. I especially prefer my interior- not a fan of the new steering wheel at all. The exterior changes are just that- changes- not outright visual improvements, at least to my eye.
About the only things I that interest me on the new one aren't visual. It's the new differential gearing (and I could live without that easily)- and the third oil port in the Rennie chambers. But even that isn't the god-send some people make it out to be.
Meh.

Nothing like that new-car excitement. As far as the AUTO, he commented that it was a gift and he had no choice.
I got a kick out of this comment:

Present or not trade it in for a manual, but then again your probably just gonna rice it out like every over dipshit kid that gets one, and you probably have no clue how to drive a stick or else you would have got one cause hell its cheaper for the manuals. you tool. you got a **** gift. I'll stick with my little white FC forget the new wannabes that the RX8 truly is.

Why do you not like dual clutch set ups? They seem ok to me provided they have a decent launch mode.

There's some sweet new features on the 09, but I'll tell you what... every time I walk out into my garage and look at my 04 BB, I am still sooooo in love with it!

i went to my dealership to buy ignition coils yesterday and while i was there i decided i check out the 09s. see if it was worth trading it in for the 3rd oil injector, lower final drive, and new transmission. its really not as bad as the pictures make it seem. exterior wise i still prefer the old design though. but its not that bad.
they were taking all the protective plastic off so i couldnt test drive it. :/ but im only really interested in the r3 anyway. i told the salesman to give me a call when the one they ordered comes in.
