Someone decided to hit my car today
So im at work, and I get a little hungry. I got out to my car to grap a couple quarters to get something out of the vending machine. When I get about 20 feet from my car, I notice it. Big long scratches, each about half an inch wide, running down the entire length of my drivers side door and a little on the front fender. He or she also hit my rim and put a bunch of marks on it as well, just for good measure. Of course there was no note. Security is looking at video feeds from this morning, but said they are usually more focused on doors and not the parking lot. Needless to say, Im f**ckin pissed. I havent even had my car 3 months yet. Just had to vent some anger. Ill post some pics when I take some during lunch.

Sorry to hear about the damage. I would be livid - more so at the lack of a note than the hit itself.
I would suggest a little foot-work of your own - take a walk around the lot today and look for someone with corresponding marks. Someone has your paint on their car. To be extra certain you might take a tape measure out - measure the height of the scratches and measure any guilty-looking parties you find plus get pics of their car and license plate.
If they're smart they're driving a different car for a while, but if they were really smart they would have not hit you or at least left a note.
If the dummy didn't even notice they hit you they probably drove the same car today.
Are you only employee parking or do you have customers and guests in that lot too?

sorry to hear about that.... I hope it all works out... You could do what my friend did to his 8..... actually put on dash camera, he activates it when he leaves his car.... hahaha good idea, but waste of money....
Best of luck, and sorry to hear about your car

My first month with my license, I whacked a Chrysler's quarter panel in a parking lot. There was no damage to my truck, and I could have made a clean getaway. But instead I took pics and left a note. Wound up costing my insurance $400. Hopefully, because of that, I'm karma-protected.

ouch man, my feelings go out to you and your 8.
I hope you are able to nail the son of a bitch that did that - accidents happen but being a little bitch and not leaving a note is just about as low as you can go.
10 bucks says if you are able to find out who did it - they will be in some retarded *** SUV.

Sorry man. That does suck so bad. If you rub your nail along the paint, does it get caught? Hard to tell the depth of it from those pics. Is the car actually dented bad or is it just a lot of paint trading?

Sympathies.
Keep us posted if you find out who did it but I'm betting you won't. Gutless turds like this usually park somewhere else for a while I reckon.

Ouch! That sucks.
Sorry it happened, the pix made me cringe but then Dominions animated sig made the pain go away
Seriously I hope you catch who did that and that it gets fixed to like-new condition.
Good luck! You still have a sweet ride regardless.

That really blows, I honestly think that I would cry if that happened to me.
Back when I owned a jeep, I was sitting in it in a parking lot when this chick in car talking on her cell phone pulled beside me, she opens her door and smacks my passenger side door, I was like "wtf" and she looks in, sees me and says "sorry" then walks into the store still talking on her cell phone, needless to say I was angry. but luckily when I got out to inspect there was somehow no damage to the door, too bad mazda doesn't make 'em like that.
If you ever do find 'em, and they knew that it happened, give us all his/her/its name and I can assure you they will give you no more problems.
