Question Some suggestions?

I just got an '06 Rx8 Shinka and I have had 2 other Rx-7's but did not have this problem. I'm 5' tall and to comfortably depress the clutch I have to sit too close to the steering wheel for good airbag safety. Since I can't do anything about the length of my legs, can the pedals be extended somehow? I didn't test drive as the car was a gift. Be nice--I'm new here!

from what i understand the pedals arent' adjustable, but the clutch can be, check the DIY section, it has instructions on adjustingn the clutch pedal, but i doubt the gas and brake apply to those instructions. oh and welcome to the forum

Send a message via AIM to SayNoToPistons
RX7s (especially the FDs) were a lot smaller compared to the rx8. thats why.

Thanks--I'll check out the DIY. The clutch is the main problem since it has to be fully depressed. And, thanks for the welcome. It's such a cool car.
