Should I really spend $100USD on THIS.....
So... ive been WAITING and waiting for the black LH drive AutoArt 1:18 model of the RX8 to come out... its an EXACT duplicate of my car in every repect except the spoiler, strakes, and clear corners.
This in particular:
http://www.aa-collection.com/cgi-bin...ing/75929.html
I got in touch with the autoart people and they told me there is no definite answer on when that item will be in stock from hong kong. They did tell me however its possible to get one if i order straight from hong kong.
They quoted me the regular $59.95 + a shipping charge of $40.00 from hong kong. So basically I'm trying to figure out if i should spend $100 dollars on a freaking 1:18 scale autoart model of my car. Thoughts? Already checked ebay for cheaper alternative, got nothing.
Do you think I'm getting ripped off paying $100 bucks for something that should only cost 40 because apparently they dont wanna ship any here to the US?

Please don't pay that much for it. I have the exact same model in left hand drive and I paid like $50 or $60 for it shipped. Try Exoticar Model Company, cause those models are readily available in the states last I checked.

thanks for the heads up on that place. They look great unfourtunatly they dont have the black RX8 at all. At the risk of sounding extremely ****, I must have a black one thats the one thats out in the parking lot anyways, lol
I've been as patient as I could, waiting since last october for someone in the states to get just ONE RX8, LH drive, in black, 1:18 scale.
I think ill have to order that one from Hong Kong.

I bought an RX8 Nikko RC at Target for 20 bucks... just for ***** and giggles. Kinda cool, it's a TG with a spoiler, "looks" like a CF hood, and came with drift tires... I mess around with it in my kitchen, can't drift on the carpet... LOL.. I chase my 2 year old around the house with it.
