With 23k original miles and a clean title Id certainly think you could fetch more than 5k for it... shoot, Ill buy that car for 6K if you seriously thinking about letting it go for 5, if I was in the DR that is. Forreal though, hold out a bit longer, Im sure you can get more than that.
Lemme know when youre selling that cosmo, Ill give it a good home

I think your right, the car is in really good conditions, it drives like a new car.
I think you may have some problems getting the cosmo in the states legally

I assume it's the yellow one you're selling. I agree with everyone one else, if it's that good of condition 5K may be a bit too cheap.

it may be a little cheap, but assuming that someone buys it in the states and it is difficult to go and test drive the car. One would have to purchase it blind folded. Also not to mention all the import cost for the car.

I dont think it be worht it for somebody to bring it to the states, too much trouble, theres is a purto rico vs santo domingo drag race event this sunday maybe ill take the car there with a for sale sign and see what happens, those puerto ricans pay a lot of money for rotarys.
I really want an rx-8 my plans where to drop a 20b in it I even have the engine but I fell in love with a friends rx-8, ever since i would have sold the house to get one but my wife dint let me

I would by it sight unseen if I had the money... and Id sell my Impala tomorrow if I could buy that Cosmo, regardless of its legality. I would DEF. break a small law if it meant owning a Cosmo, not even a question.
But yea, dont let it go for anything less than 8k Id say... its def. worth that it not more, and SOMEONE out there will appreciate it for what it is and give you a REAL offer. Be pacient, it will pay off big time, I assure you. GL with the sale!

If you drive it, you would be willing to break a couple of laws
the guy that its making the offer its going to do what I wanted for the car, his taking a 20b he has on a old school datsun and putting it in the car

i think that whatever we tell you here is not gonna make a difference, if you really want the car i say just sell it and get the RX8, if thats what you want. whatever makes you happy. i love my car, but the truth is i can used a lil more power than its got. thats my only complaint, and the fact that mazda sucks bad on support.

thanks for all the advice
the thing is that its getting really frustrating that the car allways has something bad in it, little things but is really anoyng, like door handles breaking, air conditioner buttons breaking it is a 15 year old car afther all.
about power, well I dont want to star anything here but really you dont get to use much power on the street unless you brake a few laws, and I have mi fd and my cosmo for that , right now I want a good looking car with enoug power, and with all the mods that are coming along I think the rx-8 its going to be more than enoug
