I test drove the 2004 RX-8 6spd and definitely plan on purchasing an RX-8 within a month. I noticed that many owners are having issues with the tranny & engine. I'm fortunate that my Mazda dealership treats me great and do an outstanding job on my RX-7, which has a **** load of mods.

My questions are...
1. 2005-2006 Winning Blue & Snowflake White interior only come in black? I would love to have a two-tone color like the red RX-8.

2. Any big difference between the different models available? I plan on putting a body kit on the RX-8, so the appearance package doesn't really matter.

My main goal is to purchase a 2005 or 2006 RX-8 6spd that has leather, sunroof, and maybe a navigation system.

Hey reckless, i recommend you to go to mazdausa.com to see all the different features that the rx8 has and it includes the different interior colors you can have and all the options and packages that are available. Hope this helps.

The white come with red/blk int aswell as the other 2 two tone colors available.

I plan on purchasing a used RX-8, so building one online is not an option. Also, thanks for the link, but it doesn't work on my computer.

Here is a pic of my vintage red RX-7 that was taken last year in NYC. The hood pins are on so I can switch to my Knightsports hood. Yes, I have two different types of hoods Also, I would highly recommend an RX-7, it's a blast to drive. I'm the orignal owner and would never sell my little baby. Good luck!

I've been looking for a good r1 or r2 recently, after joining rx7club, and setting up a few meets, and riding in a rx7, man, i need to get one. hahaha. But yeah, the options are the same as the new rx8's so to see all your options and interior colors and so forth, just go build a new car from their website. The options are the same in 05 so you'll be okae.
