maybe a video or better description of noise would help.

When was the last time your car was serviced? And, what was done?

when was the last time the spark plugs and coils were changed?
I'm not limiting it to those, but that is usually a good place to start.

Click the "Google" link in my sig, and type in "starting issues? start here"

And this is the very moment every single person on the forum should tell you to OPEN YOUR OWNERS MANUAL AND READ THE MAINTENANCE SECTION to see what all you should have done to your car, but chose not to, out of ignorance at the fact that you were supposed to maintain your car.

Just out of curiosity, what was your previous car that you owned before you bought the RX-8?

BC.

well they replaced the coils last year coz i got a check engine light flashing, but they only replaced two, should i replace the other two?
spark plugs not yet, they said spark plugs last 90k? but in the manual it says over there to change it every 36k,

the only shiet i put in my car, just borla exhaust, new tires, new rotors, and a ddx 418 reciever

whoever "they" are, are complete morons. regarding your car. Don't take it back there. At the least, follow your owners manual instructions!

test your plugs and coils (search the diy how to do that). If you need to replace, do ALL plugs and coils at the SAME TIME. Search on here for places to purchase from

click the "google" link in my sig and search for thread "starting issues? start here".

I don't know if it's mentioned in that thread, but it could also be fuel related... Start with the thread I mentioned first.

your car is dying a slow, painful death...

Check your plugs/coils, cat converter. You will get no more advice until you do at least those!
