say "with some serious engine work do you guys think it will be able to redline at 11,000 rpm?"

After you red line at 11,000 rpm it will need "some serious engine work." Don't you think it revs plenty as is?

Hmmm, how does it feel??

I'd say the RX8 feels like and experienced 19 year old ballet dancer. Smooth round curves with a soft tone body. Sleek and light with graceful moves as she glides across the dance floor invoking an erotic almost intoxicating mood. At the same time there is this exhilaration as she twists and turns running up to redline. She responds to your every input with out hesitation while giving you gentle feedback to let you know how you're doing. After the drive, you gaze at each other with blissful contentment while reminiscing the experience and anticipating the next encounter.

Yeah, kinda like that. :D

Nice metaphor Velocity-8 - feeling poetic about the 8 this AM????

I think the RX7 FD's were the feminine side of Mazda (just so damn pretty, soft and curvy) - my RX8 in comparison seems more on the male side of the car spectrum......

How does my Eight feel? Read this thread: https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...threadid=27362

Pretty much sums it up for me!

Re Color, that is a personal choice. Me, I think the Winning Blue is the BEST. But I'd say that about Blue anything.

The Feeling is awsome!...I remember it well, when I first test drove it, I opened the door...I slipped my body on the leather seat, fits me like a glove. The interior so comfortable the dash layout . This was my long awaited sports car. The handling on this car is Outstanding, I stoped at the corner and all eyes fell upon this Titanium Grey sleek sports I felt the awwwwww of everyone just looking at the car. It was great, and the best part of it all .....IT STILL IS. And my name is RXR8TED.
