Yeah, from what I heard the head gasket kept leaking because the piston slap when it was run to 10000 rpm.

No it's true I heard that too .. and it's not because of the head gasket and piston slap silly. We all know the rotary engine doesn't have pistons!
It's cause of the push-rods and camshaft. Too much blow by on the spider gear and giggle rod, not too mention the bs counter weight syncro.

Well--basically they found that it was redlining too high and that the suicide doors kept flying open on the freeway tossing the occupents on the pavement. Very dangerous car.

Not to mention you couldn't go through more than an inch of water without the risk of it flooding. What a piece of crap.

Yeah, I'm sure that Cmechanos, with his all-of-three posts, now feels that this is a real friendly and helpful forum that he really wants to be a part of. Nice job, guys.

Cmechanos, I don't know where you heard that rumor, but I think you can safely assume it's crap.

What are you talking about? Compared to some of the responses that I typically see, THE RESPONSES HAVE BEEN DOWN RIGHT CORDIAL!
