Royal Purple prices

Can someone direct me to the lowest priced Royal Purple 5w20 oil on the net? I keep running into low priced oil with ridiculous shipping charges or high prices and cheap shipping rates.

Also, I would like to purchase in bulk so probably two boxes of 12 quarts or more if that helps. I know that some places gives discounts on shipping on larger orders.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I live in Cincinnati and the stores that do stock Royal purple oil are priced relatively high (not including sales tax) and don't have 5w20 just 10w30.

That is essentially the answer I got from Mazsport when I stopped by in regards to synthetic oils in general. Hard to say though as some rotary shops use specifically Royal Purple, not to mention synthetic. I e-mailed/later called Royal Purple and David told me that the tar/gunk buildup would be caused by certain additives in oil, not whether the oil itself was "synthetic". He assured me Royal Purple would be fine in the RX-8, but then again that is asking RP if I should use their product. You're in Cali, so you should be able to contact local Rotary specialists to find the answer you're looking for. The responses are as varied and contradictory as you find on here though - your call.

----

As for buying RP 5w20, at some point, someone here suggested americanmuscle.com, and they do seem to have better prices than the local stores here. They have it for $6.49/qt with free shipping, and no tax unless you're in PA. They don't seen to sell it in any quantities larger than a quart though. Haven't bought from there yet, but once I finish getting some issues resolved by the dealer, I was planning on doing so.
