REVi install/ First drive

Install took about 2 hours. Had a few problems with the screws that hold the Ram air duct but I fixed it pretty easily once I thought about it. plus my friend came over to help me out with everything so I had a few extra hands, which was really important in this install.

Half way through the install I thought "Oh S#$$, I should have taken pics for a DIY", but I was way too far in to strt over or start taking pics.

Once I got everything installed and I started the car to give it a test rev I must say I was really SHOCKED at how much better the car sounded. Much throatier and I could feel it inside the car. In fact, my little sister came out to see what was going on and once i revved it to show her what I did she nearly jumped out of her shoes cuz the sound fightened her.

Revved it a few times and the higher the RPMs the deeper it got.

After reinstalling the bumper I took it for a test drive around town. I noticed that the rough idle was far less noticable and the car sounded FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC, even to other cars. I drove normally pass a escalade and we got caught at a light. apparently the guy thought i wanted to race because i passed him and with the intake it sounded much faster than i was really going. so once the light turned green he took off while I just drove off normally.

I love my new intake :D Now I can't wait to add the Greddy exhaust. that ought to kick things up a few notches. :D
