resetting ecu

would resetting the ecu sort out the rev limiter as mine was 8.5 now its 8 all of a sudden?
mines the 192bph model with 9k as top of redline

would searching for ANY of your answers reset the way you come across an issue?

This kind of point would be more effective if you provided a search string that yielded the needed info. Show him how easy it is.

how did you reset the ECU? unplug the battery? the rev-limiter is hard coded into the firmware, it wont change unless you re-flash the ECU.

RX8Soldier apparently reset the ECU to fix the rev limiter by searching Google for the right kind of oil.
