Resale Value over time - a guess?

I am curious as to the resale or estimated value over time on these. It seems that people like them A LOT but do you think it will be something like the RX-7? I looked it up and it held to about half of its value over a 6 year period. That is excellent. The highest half value time was 7 years - Porsche.

My residual after 4 years is about 20,000 which if proves to be accurate, then the Rx8 should depreciate quite well

*Blink* Are you saying that you got a 48-month lease with a 60% residual?!?

when you say depreciates quite well...do you mean it doesn't depreciate much over time?

Basically, because they are "estimating" that after 4 years it will only have lost 40 % of its value, which if this turns out to be true, will mean that the car holds its value well. Whether or not this actually happens is a whole different story.
