reccomendations for painless dent repair in D/FW Texas?
Hello all
I recently found out my 8 has been the victim or some asshat, but my right rear fender has a big dent in it at the top... horribly noticable. Its either a door ding from someone or it looks like a freaking golf ball wacked it hard. No paint damage that I can see, and was hoping to get some reccomendations for paintless dent repair in Dallas/Fort Worth TX (im in NE Fort Worth)
What is the price of something like this as well?
Thanks!
jeff

No dent removal is painless. But paintless is good. Here in California I have had excellent results with "Dent Wizard" and I am pretty sure they operate in Texas as well. Figure about $80 to $120 for them to show up and remove one small-to-medium size dent. Then additional $$ for additional dents; maybe $30 or so for a typical "door ding" depending on size of the dents and difficulty of getting behind them. Still way cheaper than a body shop, and better too.
Depends on how deep the dent is if it will come out paintless. The body shop initially thought the dent on my hood could come out dentless until closer inspection. The dent was pushed in enough in the center portion (quarter-size) that it caused it to be that the paint, when it was pulled back out, would have "cracks" in it. They had to strip off the paint to properly fix it without damaging the paint, and then repaint it. The color match is PERFECT!!! The end of this week I can have my coating reapplied.
