Smile Reasons for why i love my rx8! whats yours i would love to hear from everyone?

How everyone has to look at it, sound(bose),the way it can go up all the way to 9000 and not blow up, the way it looks and not to mention that it's mine. not to mention girls just can't resist an rx8.

The reasons I love my car are too numerous to list here.

BTW--this forum has numerous previous threads on this theme, going back to the Summer of 2003 when the car was introduced. Why don't you browse through the old threads (in "RX-8 Discussion") and look at some to the many reasons people have given.

Looks.

Night driving.

Quiet, no-noise exhaust.

Lots of burst acceleration available in 50 mph zones driving in 2nd gear.

Digital speedometer.

Speedbumps.

I had a young guy probably about 18 follow me about 10 miles (he was going the same way, but stayed behind/beside me) in a Titanium Grey til we hit a stop light. He gives me the metal fingers (pinky and index pointed, the rest curled) and says, "That color is SICK! I've never seen another 8 painted like that" Gave him a big thumbs up, raised the revs and hauled *** at my green arrow. 8 owners have turned out to be pretty chill IRL so far.

I love everything besides.... oil consumption, gas mileage, weak a/c, floods, squeaky clutch pedal, sunvisors breaking every 6 months, the unbelievable torque.... other than that, I love my car.

1) Because its rarer, there not many advertisements out for it
2) Its affordable both list price and insurance wise, because it has the extra 2 doors in the back, its consider a 4 door even though it looks like a 2 door
3) it is powered by a rotary engine which means it doesn’t run on cylinders, its different
4) Its unique in design, it still looks modern to this day despite its introduction in spring 2003 as a 2004 model, in fact many modern day car designs are taking cues off the RX-8
5) I like the way it drives even though it may not be the most powerful car in a drag race, it will carve corners and take and hold speeds higher than the after mentioned vehicles.
6) I don’t see another one every corner I turn, which makes me feel like I’m driving something special.
7) It seats 4 in a pinch. It’s practical should a kid ever come in the near future in my life.

I love how the rx8 has a forum dedicated to it with stickies that talk about the little things about the car.

I also love new threads about the exact same things over and over again

I love how it's always compared to cars that have not only are bigger, but also have pistons.

I also love how everyone says the Auto's are slower than a 1996 Cavalier.

I love that autos are slower than a '96 Cavalier so I can WTF pwn them until the owner cries.
