A question regarding options

I'm thinking of buying an rx-8 soon but I have a question regarding options. Would it be possible to add the xenon headlights and fog lights to the 6-speed base model? I know that sport package includes these options but i really don't want the traction control and stability control. Your knowledge will be appreciated.

first off DSC and TCS can be turned off...easily...so if you dont want them just dont have them on.

Second these are good options to have, even advanced drivers can use the occasional help, remember DCS puts the brakes on one wheel at a time if necessary, no driver can apply only one brake at a time under any circumstance. there is a very advanced computer calculating road conditions with many sensors that can calculate necessary corrections faster than Michael Schumacher, and chances are you are not even close to the same caliber driver...im not either...yet hehe.

third to put those options on after market will cost you more than the sport package...

so id say just get the sports package its better for you and you get the xenon lights

You can, but it will cost you more than just getting the sport package.

I'd urge you to get the sport package .... with DSC and TCS.
I've watched professional drivers demonstrate emergency maneuvers with DSC on and off. Clearly, it is an advantage in an emergency.
Have you driven the car in the rain? Shoot my FC will slide all over the place in the rain and it has about 100 less Hp. If you ever decide to part with your 8 .... these features would likely make it more desirable to sell.
The lights are worth the $$.
Hope you get the 8 and enjoy it!
