I'm at 12,000 miles, 10 months with no problems other than the service bulletins and recalls. I'm getting the free service for the warranty period due to the HP overstatement so I haven't spent a dime on the car except for gas and 2-3 quarts of oil.

15k and nothing major- my brakes are now squealing a bit, and my ac compressor needs to be replaced, but those aren't exactly big issues. And they'll get fixed when it goes in for 15k service next week.

16,700 and no problems, except I haven't had enough time to wash it! Finally got around to it last weekend after 3 months! Put on another coat of Zaino. That stuff is gold. I hadn't waxed it since about September, and it still looked clean after a rain.

At around 8,000 miles, I took it to the dealer for squeaky brakes, occasional rattle near right door and steering wheel occasionally trying to swing wildly on firm braking (after I noticed a pull, I tried hands-off under safe conditons and the car jerked a lane or more). The dealer said they got rid of brake dust, but the squeal was there when I drove away. They said the rattle was a loose latch on the door that they tightened. It still happens occasionally, often at idle shortly after starting. They didn't duplicate the swinging wheel, so they just said it didn't exist (they said the car was normal).
It is hard to make these things happen just when I bring it in to service. (For example, I can get squeaking on the highway, but when I turn off for a 1/2 mile of street driving to reach the shop, it goes away.) I know the squeaking has happened to others; what do you recommend -- other than pounding the brakes. I know they don't squeak when used hard, but my car is a daily driver and I shouldn't have to race away from lights and jam on the brakes to avoid squeaking. Any thoughts on the other two problems?
I've had the bulletin work done, and a reflash to M that improved my mileage about one mpg.

I had to have a new engine put in after only 600 miles because of a coolant leak in the engine. I also have some rattles in the the side air bag compartment that they can not seem to fix. The second engine seems ok I almost have it broken in. It is a fun car for the money.

Had (2) CEL's, both PE0420 codes, that the 'L' reflash took care of.
The TPMS light came on during some of the coldest mornings last winter.
These I consider minor, so I gave a no vote.
This, after almost 11 months & 16,000 miles.
Oh, I suspect the stock Bridgestone tires will last no more than 20 - 22,000 miles, before there is no tread left.

I would consider a tranny rebuild a major repair, especially on such a low mileage car and if it wasn't covered under warranty you would be calling it major repair also.
