problem debadging

so i removing my bagdes to paint them black...

and yes i have searched everyother debadging thread...


i have all the glue off the front logo and the sucker will not come out do you know if the posts have notches on the end of them or what cause i dont want to force it but it seems like it wont come out no mattfer how hard i try

they have little studs that go in the bumper and you have to pull em out it shouldnt be hard BUT i did a friends and his glue was in there too so it made it difficult

try one side at a time really slowly kinda wiggle at em to get em loose or use a heat gut to melt the glue then pul em out

3M Double back tape works fine for putting them back on.

You can use dental floss to pull them up a bit, help get through the glue.

when i tried it, i broke the emblem in 4 peices
was a complete bitch to remove!

my uncle owns a body shop when i get some cash i think if i gave him a 12 pack and like 40 bucks hed bondo and paint it for me so i may just go completely de-badge but this is defiantly a good x

thanks... i broke all the pegs off the front emblem lol... fail

but yeah i just didnt have time that day to do the mazda(word) and the Rx-8 but i plan on do them next time its sunny and im not working in the god foresaken hell hole
