Powder Coating OEM 03-05 Wheels

Hi,

Just curious if anyone has powdered coated their OEM 03-05 RX8 wheels to a gun metal, gray or black?

Was thinking of doing this to mine but was not sure, any pictures would be great. THANKS!

Myself and many others have had their rims powder coated. A search in the wheels forum will return many threads with photos.

What would be a good colour to go with nordic green? I have black painted calipers.

bronze would look awesome on nordic green. If you did it black it would become to monochromatic.

The photo in the 2nd post was from 6/2005 the one in this post was from 10 minutes ago. Please take into account my car is dirty and the rims are not used during the winter. But I would have to say they held up well.

Those do look damn good. And paying about $100 per wheel to have them done sounds reasonable, especially considering most aftermarket options are going to be either heavier than stock or much more expensive.
