Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these,
as they look like a pretty simple way of getting access to OBD info and able to add in Oil temp and Pressure.
Does anyone know if their sensors will fit if used in a modified banjo bolt (IE is their enough space?

Myself and Hoss-05 both have PLX guages and have had nothing but issues, Hoss-05 has the OBD setup and it just crapped out completely and he didn't bother to let PX replace it.

I have the DM-6 with boost and AFR modules. I had one module replaced under warranty and even then the setup works when it wants too. I often have to power down everything and plug it back in to get the modules to work. And their tech support has gone over everything but nothing worked.

But when it works, it is okay. But I would not bother with PLX products ever again.

I run the PLX gauges on my FD (the non-obd2 ones). They're awesome. I'll be going with an adaptronic ECU soon and they have hardware so you can daisy chain them with the sensor boxes which is nice. I'd say the only issue I had was with a loose connector with one of the gauges. The screen got scrambled up a bit. Just tightened the plug to the sensor box and all was well. This only happened twice and I've had these gauges for many years and this was the worst thing that happened to them.

I'm shocked to hear this. Not only have I never had any real issues, their customer support has been top notch and they even went the extra mile to help the shop install them on my car. I think they're a great little company and put out some pretty awesome stuff.

I'm using 3 multigauges reading from several sensors.

Yeah customer service was good, but even with a new module and going thru all the wiring several times it still acts up a few times a month. It's more annoying than anything else and usually unplugging the first module in the chain gets everything working but from what I have read on other forums it's a fairly common issue.

I also thinking the modules are cumbersome compared to other offerings. There is some nice stuff out now that combines OBD data and auxiliary modules. Hoss-05 has the adaptronic and is now using Innovate stuff.

Interesting.

That doesn't necessarily mean that the majority of customers have that problem. Maybe there was a bad run of boxes? Have you ever tried just using one box at a time? Maybe one defective one is ruining the chain.

Yeah it does it regardless of how many modules are installed. They did replace the modules, same thing started happening after a month or so. I am not saying it is a widespread problem but for the two of us that have PLX stuff locally, reliability and function has been an issue. I can only go by what I have experience with. Oh and also stacking the modules is a PIA, the metal cases do not slide together or apart easily at all.

Yea mine don't stacked. I got a very early run of the gauges and they were actually impossible to stack. Feature was defective right out of the box! Unfortunately my boxes are just zip tied together.

I've never heard of anyone on 7 club complaining but they don't have the obd2 gauges.

I don't have the OBD gauges either, just the DM-6.

Hoss-05 had the OBD and normal 52mm gauges. Both of ours were impossible to stack as well. Well, I think Hoss got them stacked but then they would never come apart,
