any reccomendations for an 04 exuast system that is CARB legal... brand names??? Quality?

Anything that is under 96 db I believe. I have the Greedy SP2. My AEM intake is C.A.R.B. approved as well as the Greedy turbo kit.

Any cat-back unit is CARB exempt. Cat-backs have no affect on emissions.

I don't believe that you are going to find any exhaust header that is CARB legal. All that are presently available seem to be labeled for off-road purposes only, because they aren't' being tested for certification.
