Alright, I am in the military sleeping in the barracks with my vehicle parked with hundreds of others and there is people everywhere all the time, even in the middle of the night. This morning, right before PT, I woke up and walked to my car with a key scratch. Not just a normal key scratch but one that was written "FUCK YOU" on it. I drive a 2009 rx8 so you all can probably imagine how i feel right now. On the window, there are scuff marks like someone scratched my window seven times with a rock. WTF did I do to these people? I mind my own business and keep to myself. I guess someone just felt like being an *** and decided to abuse my car.
My question is, Who do I take my car to to fix the window scuffs and key scratches and how much do you think it will be? Quick responses will be awesome.
Oh, Hopefully Ill live today. Jumping out of a perfectly good airplane in 6 hours.

The damage should be covered under comprehensive part of your car insurance. Hopefully no deductible. Being military, you should have USAA as insurance (if you don't, seriously check them out and switch, best move you can make). If you don't already have a $0 deductible on comprehensive, make that your 2nd change. Going from $250 to $0 deductible on comprehensive increased my yearly total insurance cost for 2 cars by $35. Well worth it.
They will recommend a shop.
Also, report it to the MPs, I'm sure they will love to have something to investigate other than expired registrations

Im currently with nationwide and i didnt go with usaa do to the fact they wanted to charge me an additional $250 a year more then any other car insurance out there. Mp's ill have to call them later, dont have enough time atm.
They are about 40% lower than the lowest I can find otherwise. $177 a month for 2 cars 2 drivers and a massive record of traffic violations (like 30? 40? all off public record, but I know they still keep an internal record on them)
USAA was more expensive than GEICO for me as well. I would contact your security forces/mp whatever branch you are. Contact your first shirt or equivilent. I say this because the base should be able to compensate you for the damage to your vehicle. My friend had something similar happen to his 2009 WRX, and although it has taken legal a while to figure it out, there are paying for the repairs.
People are stupid is really the only answer here. Even my friend, who is slightly annoying, and many people make fun of, its not right to damage someones property, even, especially a car. So ya, find out if the bases insurance will cover anything for you and hopefully you wont have to deal with your insurance company.
Keep in mind tho' that with USAA you get back some money each year as a "subscriber savings account." USAA is like the credit union of the insurance industry. I've been with them for 35 years now home & auto and always good to me. Related: I was amazed how low the insurance was on the RX-8 as it's deemed a 4-door 1.3L vehicle.

It's expensive as hell for me because it's deemed a performance car with outraged replacement parts costs.
I'm over 25 married with no priors.
