Picked up an RX8
Was looking around for a car for a while, and the RX8 was on the top of the list. Found a great deal for one locally and purchased it. What a wonderful car.
$18,700 = $20,200 OTD

Congrats! Looks very clean and it top shape. Just make sure you have all the '04 recalls done on it and any other pertinent TSB's. Go to www.finishlineperformance.com for that info.

are you buying the car off ebay?? because theres this whole section on biding for the car...... if you are I wouldn't trust ebay with that kind of stuff, but def. get a carfax report and everything..... good luck car looks beautiful!

Welcome. Looks like the previous owner took good care of her.
Nice Color. Be prepared to spend more time then everyone else keeping it clean...

Thanks guys, the car has been fantastic and the girls love it. I've heard nothing but compliments about the car. Definately worth the price of admission. The thing eats alot of gas, but thats something I knew getting into the car. The car isn't perfect, it has the same flaws any 2 year old car would have, but for the price I paid, I think I did pretty good.
The car came with the Racing Beat exhaust. It looks beefier than the stock unit, and is very quiet, maybe the same as stock. It's exactly what I'd look for in an exhaust for the car.
I found the car on eBay, but the seller was local, called him up, put a deposit down, arranged an appointment and they ended the auction early. I drove up inspected the car and carfaxed it before purchase.
I would have perfered something other than black simply because black is difficult to keep clean. My previous car (a Black Miata) was always dirty because of this reason. However, Brilliant Black looks fantastic on the RX8 and I'm happy with my decision.
I've already ordered some stuff for the car. Howard's front rotary accent and fender strakes, a 2005 Key Fob, a license plate frame, touch up paint, and some new tires.
