Opinions on Powdercoating wheels (Hopefully my next Mod)

Alright, so I realize this topic has been practically beaten to death, but after searching and reading through many threads I have yet to find exactly what I want (depending on if it exists.. yet).

I can't really afford any aftermarket wheels, but I like the black rims on Velocity Red look. So I'm looking in to getting them powder coated black. My questions are:

1) Does anyone have a picture of a VR with powder coated black rims? (Doesn't matter shiny, glossy or otherwise, I just need examples)

2) I need opinions on if I should get flat black or shiny. And also what color code or indicator would I give to the shop that will be doing this job to get this color?

Also, after doing this I want to debadge + paint the badges the same black as the rims are and then put them back on. All of this will hopefully be my next mod

Anyways, I could really use the help. I have considerable trouble picking out "matching" or even decent color schemed things because I am colorblind (no I don't see black and white and if you want to understand more then visit http://colorvisiontesting.com/ because I'm sick of explaining haha)

Thanks for the help everyone!

Not really an option for me right now. Too expensive. I think the cheapest that I saw a decent looking rim was $189 /ea + all the labor costs & shipping

If your looking into colors or varients of black powdercoat,, I believe the color is called midnight satin... Its a satin(duh) and has great depth to it without having that cheap glossy look.... I do believe this is the powder that s used for the Lotus Exige wheels ,,, that would be the best bet in a google search for pics.... I plan on using this on my Volk SF challenges, powdercoating the spokes midnight satin and then black chroming the lips....

Ya, I like the look of other black rims on the VR 8, so I'm hoping my feelings would be the same with black powder coated OEM rims.. If it comes down to it, i'll just have to do a little more saving :P I posted a pic of my 8 in my other thread if that helps. Maybe someone can do a photoshop or something? I've seen people do some magical stuff with that thing, so who knows.. Here's the link to pics:
