Ontario Group Buy

I plan on purchasing the RX-8 (depending on fate of RX-7) sometime in summer of 03. If anyone interested in group buys in Ontario please pm me.

ontario group buy - reliability

I'm currently considering a Rx8 in the Toronto area ( preordering ) but I am currently unsure of the reliability of the car. What is the Mazda warranty like for dealing with the average Rx 7 reliability problems? ( I don't think I'll keep the car for over 3-4 years )

Icebeast,
Mazda warranty is 3 year/50,000 miles bumper to bumper.

For that time, you get 24 hour roadside assistance.

You also get a loaner vehicle free of charge if the car is ever in service while still under warranty.

That said, while the FD3S was not a reliability king, I think if you check into consumer reports reliability ratings, you will find that all Mazda's in general have very high reliability ratings, and I would expect nothing different from the RX-8

resale value

that said, I would have 3 years to save up for the next car... =) But due to the image of unreliability for mazdas cars... how is the resale value for mazda cars? Especially one related to Rx 7. Wouldn't want to lose a lot of money on the trade in afterwards!

thanks,
Icebeast

Send a message via Yahoo to my03_rx8
well the rx-7 out there for 93-95 with low miles are bring an where from 30k to 20k
these cars 7,8,9 years old and havent lost half of their sticker price yet
so i would think that if u dont put 100k miles on it u should get most of ur money back after three years
