No Sport Coat Hook in Front or Back

Wow. Three years and I finally found something serious to pitch a bitch about.

Had to travel with a passenger in the front seat today.

Normally, I'd just hang my sport coat (so as not to get it wrinkled) on the grab handle in the front.

But w/a passenger in the front, no can do.

I discovered there's no hook or any other place to hang a sport coat in the rear today. Bummer.

I may have to buy one of those adhesive thingies and stick it back there and pray that it stays in place so that I'm able to hang up my blazer in the rear.

Hang it off the baby seat hook behind the back seat headrests.

check this out - most others require adjustable headrests - this one would work with our seats...

Has any one seen a functional rod for the 8, cause I carry multiple uniforms at once? Right now I just lay them in the back seat but would like to be able to hang them.

i really wouldnt trust the stick/glue on ones... if they fail you run the risk of having pulled/damaged/ugly looking headliner material.

I dont care for the one that hangs off the seat, i'd look into pulling the headliner down some and installing a proper hook thats bolted in somewhere

couldn't you hang it off the mounting point in the rear deck and drape it over the back seat?

I tried this approach and the coat ended up on the seat after my first "spirited" turn.

I love the "you gotta leave your own club" comment. Very fitting

I use the notch above the back seat storage bin. Twist and bend the hanger hook about 30 degrees and place hook into the recess.

I recently bought an 09 (08 JDM)---no coat hanger either. I am a doctor and have to take my white coat in to work everyday. With my old car, it was a simple "hang it at the back", but with the 8, I'm having to fold the coat and put it in the trunk!

The lack of hook sucks for picking up dry cleaning as well. As previously mentioned, I use the baby hook in the back.

It's not about hanging your dry cleaning...its about how FAST you can pick up your dry cleaning.
