New rx8 member, first car!

Sup guys. I've been on here for a while but i've never posted. I drove 90 miles to go check out an 04 silver rx8 and I ended up buying it. I'm picking it up from baltimore wednesday and it will officially be mine. It is an 04 rx8 GT package, fully loaded.
The body has 108k miles on it but the engine was replaced in 09 and it has 30k on it. I bought the car from a milf haha and she bought the car in 04 brand new. She had a drop top lexus(fresh affff) and a toyota, and she's a single mom so she didn't drive it much. Any tips for keeping the rx8 healthy and pretty? I'll be on here A LOT as I love cars and have around 2k saved up to spend on my baby.

I got this for 7k flat. Good deal?

Another edit: She gave me 3 like new snowtires !

I bought my 04 sunlight silver with 68k for 6800.. With "19 staggered rims, coils, endlinks, k&n intake, authentic MS dual muffler exhaust, and red/black leather. Get it a compression test, get a really good OBD2 scanner or if you wna spend te cash get a cobb AP, and just do reg maintenance and tune up to get it to sec before you start putting any mods on. As for keeping it pretty, i never skimp on detailing my car. I polish and wax at least ever month even though its still got alot of wax when i do. Btw, there is a thread for all of this. I would link it but its stickied so just find it and read to your hearts intent on your 8. But yeah, go through every nook any cranny of your car getting it up to spec and tuning it up as you go, ie. fluids, including tranny and diff, suspension (bushings are 8 years old...), ignition..ect... The little maintenance things make as much of a difference as any expensive performance mod when you start adding them up. And congratulations on your first car man.

Its a special needs car. Save money for when things break. Make sure you give it the special attention it needs or you will break it.
