New RX-8

Just thought I'd drop a thread to say hi to all. And kind of introduce myself to the forum.

I went in Friday and traded my 95 Z28 for an RX-8. I have to say it's kinda strange. I used to be one of those guys who swore by "American Muscle", but after a test drive in the RX, I was hooked. For some reason it just seemed like too much fun to pass up. I have to say, getting used to the exhaust might take a while though. But with the feel for the car, I don't think it'll take too long.

Oh yeah, I'm gonna attempt to post a pic. Here goes.

Welcome....

Not that the Camaro is a bad car....but the RX8 must feel like butter compared to it......especially the handling!!

Good luck with it.

You said it bud. I used to be all about the take off, but now I just can't wait to hit the corners!!

And don't get me wrong, it was rather hard to get rid of my baby.
But it was much easier after I drove this thing. Not to mention that it's got some sweet *** looks that get a lot of attention.

Congrats on your new Rex. I too will be trading in American muscle for Japanese precision. I also keep thinking that I will miss the sweet sound of a V-8 purring through real dual exhausts, but I am sure the RX-8 will make me happy in a variety of new ways.

Three more months and I will also be posting new RX-8 pics.
