I have been a huge fan of RX-8's since the day I first saw them (and naturally I was a big fan of the RX-7). Never really wanted to fork out the cash for a new one though. So last weekend I picked up a 2004 with only 10K miles on it for $13,900. Stock. But that's the way I like them. Won't make any mods probably. No spoiler... hate them. Just have to say that I am STOKED on my new ride.

Your first RX.......I remember the day about 37 years ago....you will love it. Great price...what model is it. Don't forget to read the stickies and your manual. Some are not aware the engine is oil-injected and will need some added occasionally. ENJOY and keep the revs up.....

Sadly (sort of) I got an automatic. I could not pass up the deal, though, so I pulled the trigger. A friend of mine told me about this site, and when I told him I didn't get a manual transmission, he advised me to turn the car around and return it.

I have the A/T too(bad back). The only way I was to still have my ROTARY. Sure I would rather have a M/T it gives you more feel and control. You will still get a good 80% of the fun.

Oh no doubt. My favorite car color is silver. Period. Nothing else even comes close. Thanks for the welcome messages. I look forward to perusing through the site for much needed info. Just had a conversation with a friend tonight at a bar, while sitting outside drinking some beers, about how this is easily my favorite car that I have owned. The Audi TT (manual, silver) I owned just took a step down.
