VA New Introductions

Hello.
Not sure how to do this exactly. I've been a member since i think September but have been unable to to stay logged in until now for some reason. (Everytime i would move to a thread it would "boot" me. ???)
I live in Virginia, originally born and raised in Virginia Beach but i moved about a year and a half ago to the Charlettsville area and frequent to Roanoke about every month or so.
I'm a Graphic Artist/Screen Printer for BlueRidge Graphics. Mostly i do custom T-Shirt designs and such but i also handle the vinyl as well. If you PM me with a request for an image i can usually get it for you and if it is something custom and not too detailed i may be able to help as well. Its a time constraint thing.
I'm a vary proud owner of 2 RX8's. 2004 Nordic Green GT (body damaged), and a 2005 Black Cherry Shinka (perfect). My first car first that i ever owned was a 1994 RX7 (R.I.P Sasha)
My mods Im currently looking to plan (and have bought) are turning my Shinka into an RX8 "Shockwave edition", hence the profile picture. Vinyl side graphics, custom int., custom ext., custom built sound system, then later HP goal is 300-325hp with T/C that does not require 2-stoke oil (If that is even possible not to use it).
So, i think that about does it . Not sure where i should have posted this but i hope that this tread can be used by others as well for "Introductions".
Anyway, thanks to who ever accepted me.

welcome. i hope you have read all the stickies. if not do so now. a mod here named riwwp has great links in his sig to get you started. your hp goal and vinyl graphics will get you flamed. fi on these cars is very expensive to do right.

post some pics and for the logging in thing, click remember me by your screen name and password

Welcome 200mph is right, people will give you their opinion and people don't generally like vinyl but hey it's your car so do what you want. Imo i wouldn't even bother with FI unless you have 10k laying around. Read 9krpm's thread in the major horsepower subforum. If you want those kinda numbers you're better off trading the car in for an evo. The 4g63 engine is bulletproof and the renesis isn't.

Pictures posted of both my cars.
To: Blazenblue63. LOL True but i hate the Evo. I Used to do some work on a 1998 Eclipse, guy had me custom out his car a little bit (suspension, massive Int work, sound, rims that sort of thing). I hated that thing with a passion. And i love Rotorys with a passion.
My idea is a daily driven show car, with the ability to "show up" normal street cars.
The HP is an est of what i might be able to do with out having to put 2-stroke oil in everytime i fill up at the pump. Ive been talking with Turblow and even there 325hp custom made packages require 2 stoke oil.
Is there anyway to get out of that and still be safe from blowing my engine? And is it true that the RX7's twins can be used?
And not to sound kinda... (i dont know). But the money is not the issue within reason.

Someone told me that the Twins from the RX7 last gen when put on an RX8 would add about 100hp with cpu re-mapping, and it was relatively easy to do and more of a bang for ur buck. Since i never had my 7 sitting next to one of my 8's im not sure. Something i was researching though.

200- I am personally insulted that you would talk about my slutty mom like that before I get the chance.

Yeah ghost. Get to the researchin'. You may have been misled about putting some power to the 8. It is the first time I have heard the one about the twins from the 7 though.

The twin turbo setup from the RX7 can't be put on an RX8. They are different engines. The twin turbo's are old technology anyway. It can all be done more efficiently with a single turbo today. The vacuum hoses on those old twins were a nightmare.

LOL "premixing".
Ive been searching, found some interesting things but have never seen a dyno of it and reliability is something im looking for as well, i know how easy it is to blow an engine. If i have to go to 2 stoke for the reliability of my engine and still get the hp i will, but im researching all options.
Ive seen 5 or 6 guys destroy their motor with improper tunes all of them RX's, seen an other idiot put ethanol in his stock Mustang.. I think i might have pics of that somewhere. lol

I just talked with a guy at a local meet that bought a blue vacuum line kit for his FD after converting to a large single. Those lines were used to redo 4 cars.
