New here..Question about RX8
I recently looked at an 07 RX8 and noticed the holder for an electronic device next to the right of the air controls. What is this for? Thanks guys.

In addition to what's already been said... That's not a factory item. Looks like it may have thrashed the radio face pretty bad, too. Who knows what else is messed up behind there.
If you are considering buying this particular car, I'd be wary. The previous owner didn't seem to care much about that, makes you wonder if (s)he cared about any other part of taking care of the car.

nope that is a stock item that came with all the odd year mid season vehiclesIf you're lucky enough to find a fall season model it came with a popcorn maker
