New to the forums!
So I just bought a 04 rx8 at copart auto auction today, and this will be my first rx8. It has 111k miles on it and starts up right away. Its a 6 speed and is blue. It has the black and blue leather interior. Its a touring package and I paid 2 grand because its salvage titled. It has some front suspension damaage and minor body damage. I have posted in the classified section to try and find parts... If youre parting a car out check out what im looking for and help me out lol!

hahaha, its just some bad control arms/struts/sway bar end links... If I can find one good wheel and all those parts it will be driveable... I found new radiator and ac condensors for around 100 each... so okay, if not a week, then 2 weeks... The fenders and front bumper will be easy to have painted and install myself. its not as bad as it looks. Probably why noone out bid me.. they were intimidated by the appearance. I got luck though.

Welcome aboard, looks like a good deal. Whoever did the interior did a good job as well. I would go to the nearest dealer and have them run the VIN to see if the engine has ever been replaced, etc.

HELP! Please, i bought a 2003 rx8 39k 230 ps , have recently had intermittant starting problems when engine is warm, is this the high compression problem i have heard about ?. if so what is the fix ? ty
