Hey guys, Just bought my first 8 about a week ago and just made my way over here to introduce my self! Im in Nashville, TN and have wanted an 8 ever since they came to the states.

Well, financially I just got to a point where I was able to purchase one and here I am!

Its an 04 Grand Touring, Velocity Red, 6 Spd, with a Full Borla Exhaust, 99k miles. Im in love with it!

Anyways, I did have a question about the 100k mile Core Warranty though.

The car seems (nothing to compare to) to run great and very strong but with it being only 1k miles away from the end of the warranty, should I take it to a dealer and have them check everything out? Kinda paranoid about the fact that my luck would be the thing dies at 101k lol

Would be a good idea to have it checked out but the stealership will probably charge you a hefty diagnosis fee. Compression check wouldn't hurt.

I would read up in here in all the technical sections and you can learn a lot of stuff you can look for or check out yourself.

As promised, I was able to get some pictures taken today after work. Got her all cleaned up and looking beautiful. Completely stock aside from a full Borla Stainless Steel Catback. Hope you enjoy!
