Need some opinions!!

Hey guys, I have recently put exhaust and intake on my rx8 and I was wondering what the next best performance mod would be for my car. If you guys could give me your opinions that would be great Thanks!

lowering springs/some kind of suspension mod that will get you lower to the ground, or the AFE short shifter. I love it.

suspension isn't a bad idea. if you go with the flywheel, might as well swap out your clutch also. how much are you looking to spend?

I vote for the short throw shifter.

this coming from someone who wasn't sure if it was worth the money ...

If your car has high mileage swaping the flywheel would require replacement of the clutch as well. So, if you don't have the cash right now spend the money for the flywheel on a crank pulley $130 and a short shifter $260. I have the axial flow and personally like it a lot.

well, I thought that the rx8 already came with a stock short shifter. Would an aftermarket one really improve the performance that much? Also, I only have 15000 miles on my rx8, so I dont think I would need to replace the clutch if I got the lightweight fly wheel

wow,

you dont have a clue...

yes the afe short shifter does impove the shifts. a lot.

as to the clutch. if you are going to spend 400 to 500 bucks labor to put in a lightweight flywheel would you want to pay it again 20k mile later to put in a new clutch?

if you want an opinion and get it. research before you dispute it.

FW FTW

you are right about the clutch - don't touch it (unless you have been or intend to go drag racing )

You were at the Indy car races ? Would like to see them in action one day myself . I've seen F1 but Indy is cool too .

Didn't Dixon lead close to the end ?
