Need some help please odd things happening
I drove to work with no problems at all today, parked my car in parking lot and later in the day decided to go to lunch. I came got my car drove to lunch and then parked it. I came out after lunch to my car I got in and the traction control light was solid like I had a dead battery also my mileage was reset. My radio stations and clock were not reset though.
I pull over restart the car and the traction control light goes off. i continue to drive and about 1 mile down the road pull to a light. I am sitting at the light waiting it to turn green. All of a sudden all my electronics turn off and all the needles spike real quick and go back down. My key is in the ignition in the on position. I try to start the car again and it does not turn over at all. the electronics all come back on and I try to start it again starts right over and traction control light is on again. I drove a few miles back to the office and in the parking lot did a quick check for blown fuses or anything liek that. I couldn't find anything.
I am just worried I am going to be travelign down the highway sometime and this will happen at higher speeds. Anyone have any ideas of what this could be or any rememdies on how to fix it. Thanks for the insight and hopefulyl I can figure something out
Oh, by the way. I do have a Tein EDFC unit that has been installed since around May and I haven't had any problems at all with that and none of the fuses are broken there.
Thanks again.

Well, thanks for some help. I came home and had no problems gettign home. Now I did leave the car running in neutral and took the positive battery terminal off and it continued to run. Any other ideas?

When you take the battery out of operation, the car is running on the (18+volts) the alternator's output - very bad for the electronics.
Sounds like one or both of your terminals were loose, if the steering motor gets a bad connection, it will lock up and the traction light will be on.
Fix your terminals, or buy a new battery.
If the car still runs, you are lucky......

Thank you for the information, looks like vehicle runs fine. Hopefully as it was just a quick off terminal on terminal thing there won't be any other damage. Thanks again for the help.
